Ken Rowland, founder IntraMedia Networks and the IntraNexus Media Group is a specialist in networked sales and marketing for multi-media and software, related services, branding, re-branding, and new product launches. He often writes within the social-network genre, but considerably more than an allowable 120-character Tweet. He also creates and sells advertising. When enboldened and armed with a digital camera he will wander around and take pictures, offer a comment or two about the pictures and act, metaphorically, as a psuedo 'photo-journalist. Ken credits the late author Robert Parker, teacher/lecturer, for providing humor to a listless classroom; once referencing Mr. Rowland as an 'oxy-moron', mostly moronic, and for taking up residence at an engineering school and becoming a writer.

Successful team participation and product launches have included:

FrontPage, a Microsoft product acquisition created by MIT Professor John Ferguson and Vermeer Technologies, Cambridge, MA, (1996); purchased by Microsoft Corporation and assimilated as a 'web-development' application suite within the MS 'Word' portfolio of products. Responsiblities included component manufacture, packaging, Beta test management, channel development.

Dr. Solomon’s brand anti-virus software. Developed upon its arrival in the U.S. into a suite of applications; re-branded from S&S Software, UK, (1997 U.S. launch) into Dr. Solomon's. Acquired by Network Solutions (2000), subsequently purchased by McAfee Software. Responsibilities included development of an initial eight boxed suite, branded to the Dr. Solomon name, national channel development and distribution.

Reedy Meadow Foundation; Founder and President. Formed in 2003 as a non-profit RE development company purposed to transform the Reedy Meadow, 200-acre estuary and Ipswich River watershed area at Lynnfield-Wakefield, MA, to a passive-recreation destination: Walking & Bicycle Paths, Municipal Golf Course, Boating & Kayaking facilities; National Environmental Landmark @ U.S. Interstate 95/128, exits 41, 42, and 43. Commercially proposed and delineated for sustainable-funding, a 400,000sf "LifeStyle retail village" inclusive of senior housing, affordable housing, with ancillary golf courses, and various health and wellness amenities. Development is pending: National Development, Newton, MA http://www.meadowwalklynnfield.com/Pages/About.html

Ken is a former journalist, newspaper publisher, a directive advertising executive with NYNEX (NE & NY Telephone), and marketing consultant with Globalware Solutions, www.globalwaresolutions.com
He is a graduate of Northeastern University, BA, LA; 1971, and grandfather to Stella, 5; Crew, 3; Chloe 3; Elise, 1. He lives in Rockport, Massachusetts.

Robin's life in: 30 SECONDS; her words...

After living in New York for thirty-two years, I moved back home to New England. I found myself missing all things New England like real snowstorms, living by the ocean, walking down streets without being knocked about by other pedestrians, and hearing birds instead of sirens.
Having traveled to many places in the world and having lived in Europe, I have found the most special places are those that have afforded me the chance to be closer to nature. The Galapagos, East Africa, Patagonia, Alaska, the Arctic, the jungles of Costa Rica, Wyoming, Kauai and other
eco-friendly destinations. I am very invested in helping save the environment and particularly endangered species. I’m a member of several organizations working toward this cause.

I live in the water. Literally. At high tide, my house is at least five feet underwater.  Occasionally, I find myself up to my knees as the Atlantic makes its way into my basement. As you might imagine, I need work to pay for flood insurance. When I am not bailing out, I am writing. Novels, poems, children’s books, but most of all advertising.  The ad biz was in my blood at an earlier age. I recall telling my mother she must buy Gain as it gets out grass stains. I watched commercials constantly and my childhood cupboards were always well stocked with stain removing, sugarcoated, spreadable, squeezable products. I haven’t  stopped
buying them, I haven’t stop writing about them. I still get a kick when I see my commercials on TV.

After publishing my first novel, Night Swimming, bestselling author James Patterson and my boss for fifteen years at J. Walter Thompson, took me on his book tour and helped promote my book. My second novel is now being considered for publication. My first book of poetry is being published this year.

Bottom line is I love writing. So hire me to write whatever it is you need written. Musicals, movies, sequels, mini-series and, of course, advertising.  Look at my resume, C.D., print work, reviews and
see what I’ve been up to.  And buy Night Swimming. Then tell ten friends to tell ten friends to buy it. You will find eternal happiness within an hour of its purchase. And so will I.
